VACANCY – CARER SUPPORT WORKER

Crossroads Caring for Carers is a respected local charity, providing quality care and respite support services to carers and the people they care for in the Barnsley borough.
Experience is not essential.
Pay rates are £11.44 to £13.00
We offer the same pay rates to all age groups.
Full-time, Part-time or set hours and days.

Our services include:
- Individually tailored care packages with continuity of staff
- All aspects of personal care
- Meal preparation and assistance with eating and drinking
- Mobility assistance
- Assisting with medication
- Activities outside the home
- Specialised tasks
- Night service
- Palliative care
- Short breaks and holiday cover for carers/person with care needs
- Emotional support
We offer:
- Full and part-time flexible hours,competitive rates of pay, mileage allowance, travel time, 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year

- Applicants must be willing to undergo a DBS (disclosure and barring service) check and provide references from previous employers.
- A full driving licence and use of a car is preferred
Required experience:
- Not essential full training will be provided.
